Message of the Grand Prior

          Faith is the great Word that bonds us, human beings, to God, our Creator. Whenever we fail our Faith, God is near to remind us the vow we have taken upon ourselves before coming onto this planet, before becoming who we are, human beings. Brothers and sisters, Knights and Dames of the Temple, our sacred mission during this transient life is to safeguard our Christian Faith, the sacred Faith in our God the Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit. Through the good example we set, and the strong feelings of love and compassions for our fellow human beings, we have been chosen to stand up for and protect our Faith against those who are lost or disparage it.  

          Nothing on this earth is by chance and all radiates from God. And as God our Father created our destiny long before we were born, we must fulfil our mission with love, and might and main that we have.

          Every now and then, human beings fail to believe, and consider themselves more important even above the almighty God. An then, our Father reminds us where we come from and proves us how incomplete our might is. But God puts us to the test in order to strengthen our faith. And God shows us we have not fully understood the ultimate meaning of our Lord Jesus Christ sacrifice for our redemption. And only then we remember and look up towards the skies to discover God again. Only then we remember that we must be together in unity, in brotherly love for our fellow human beings and faithful love towards God, our Father.

          My Brothers and Sisters, today when our fellow human beings undergo such hardship, and some have lost all their possessions, and are left barehanded in front of God, we, the Knights and Dames of the Sovereign Military Order of the Temple of Jerusalem, are called to offer our love and compassion to them and try to alleviate their pain.

          I therefore urge you all, and ask your friends and acquaintances, and all the good Christians, to open your heart so that we can carry out our mission in unity. It is our truthful duty to stand by the ones in need and, along with our Christian Church, help the distressed whose cry call upon us for assistance. God has chosen us and guided our steps within this Order so that we fulfil His will. And He wills now that we help our brothers and restore hope their earthly existence has not come to term.

          Together, in unity and love, through faithful commitment, let us all reach out and join our hands to restore hope for all.

PRIORAL MESSAGE

            Dear Knights and Dames of the Temple,

            Dear Templar brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus Christ,

            May the coming year be one to further unite us in our Faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

             While we can proudly assert we brought forth significant accomplishments and successfully reached our goals during this past year, one must be aware of the mission we are committed to during 2005: be up to the expectations of those who entrusted their good faith onto us. Therefore, let us carry on our joint efforts with an open confident heart and in all truthfulness and pursue our ideals so as to be able to prove ourselves and the ones watching over us the value and important role that our Order plays in modern-day society.
